Mattias has spent 20+ years working with change in enterprise settings, divided between 12 years in management consulting, 4 years as CFO and 8 years driving new tech adoption in Nordea. He has worked on bringing in and scaling up new technologies like software robotics, virtual agents, machine learning / deep learning and natural language processing. Currently he is leading the AI Hub which is a group unit  driving AI strategy, governance, technology enablers, and operating model, as well as supporting the business in utilizing data, leveraging technology, changing culture and establishing a new mindset.

Head of Analytics – Varner Group

Juwel Rana, PhD is a global analytics leader located at Oslo, Norway and leads the analytical development at Varner Group, holding the position as Head of Analytics. Juwel possesses full stack development principles from architecting AI products to algorithmic design as well as strategic and business objective setting. When it comes to AI technology, Juwel thinks business first, and when it comes to business, Juwel puts customers first. Before joining Varner, Juwel was data science lead at Telenor Group, Norway where he led several strategically important projects in real-time data analytics, network performance analytics within the role of Analytics and AI research scientist.
